At EMAS, we want every child and family to feel welcome, loved, and supported. We combine the Montessori method with a creative curriculum to give children a strong academic foundation through hands-on learning and daily classroom activities.

Academics are a Major Focus

At Eagan Montessori Academy South, children develop skills in reading, writing, math, language, and problem-solving while learning at their own pace. We encourage curiosity, independent thinking, and a love of reading. Our goal is to prepare children for a smooth transition to public school and help them become confident, capable learners and future leaders.

We’re Known for Excellence

We are proud to have received the Readers’ Choice Award for Best Montessori School for eight consecutive years. Many of our lead teachers have been with us since 2018, building lasting relationships with children and families. Some families have trusted the same teacher with all three of their children!

Children are Prepared for Transition

Our children are well prepared for screenings and enrichment programs at District 196 and other nearby districts and private schools. We are proud to see them demonstrate strong academic skills and readiness for their next stage of learning.

Our strong community is built on trust, respect, and open communication. Our staff members are trained in CPR, First Aid, SUIDS, and AHT, and children’s safety and well-being are always our priority.

At EMAS, we work closely with families to help every child learn, grow, and reach their full potential.
