Toddler Childcare & Montessori

The goals of our Toddler Childcare and Montessori program are to foster independence and nurture the development of prosocial behaviors.

The Toddler Learning Environment

The goals of our toddler program are to foster independence, nurture the development of prosocial behaviors, and to expose young children to pre-kindergarten concepts through play, joyful experiences, and intentional investigations. The environment is language rich, with teachers using proper nomenclature rather than baby talk so that the children are exposed to and develop a broad vocabulary.

Teachers also support toddlers in communicating with each other. A range of books allows children to explore on their own or read aloud with an adult. Our program also emphasizes material exploration as a means to deepen knowledge and encourage creative thinking.

Our Toddler program values parent involvement and communication. You are welcome in the classroom to share talents, skills, or contributions. A daily sheet is given to parents at the end of the day giving you a glimpse of the ongoing classroom.

Parent/Teacher conferences are held twice a year and family events are held several times throughout the school year.

Schools and child care are convenient to Eagan and Inver Grove Heights, and the surrounding areas of Apple Valley, Burnsville, Rosemount, South St. Paul and West St. Paul.
