Morning Group & Curriculum

During our morning group time, we follow our curriculum while making learning fun and engaging. The children are currently working on the letter of the week (Q), the -op word family, 4–5 letter sight words, digraphs and blends, and letter sounds. We also include ASL and Spanish, connected to our monthly theme.

It has been such a joy to see how much the children have learned! They can now name words that start with Q, create words in the -op family, and read their sight words with confidence. Our morning meeting begins with learning about the days of the week, months, and year, and ends with talking about the weather and saying the Pledge of Allegiance.
